Chan Monyneat became a part of the chamber in June 2020 as the office manager. She maintains and manages day-to-day office activities to ensure effective and efficient operations within the office and plays a role as a point of contact for chamber’s information.
She is currently a senior student majoring in International Relations at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. During her journey in college, she has been exposed to work in different fields through her volunteering work as liaison officer to international delegates during the World Economic Forum 2017, Cambodia National Election 2018 and the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum 2019 organized by the Cambodia government. Despites, she is a former protocol intern at the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh in winter 2018. Due to her socialise, energetic and ability to adapt in learning to the new environment with a wide range of people from different backgrounds including locals and international NGOs, entrepreneurs, government officials and diplomats, Chan Monyneat has developed her knowledge and skills on professional communication and interpersonal skill.
Chan Monyneat has also participated in a few international programs namely Southeast Asian Service Leadership and Network (SEALNet) in Saigon-Vietnam 2014, Jenesys 2.0 in Japan 2015 and Sunburst Youth Camp (SYC) in Singapore 2016.
Viriya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English for Business Communication from the Norton University of Cambodia. Before her graduation, she started her career journey as the Documentation Consultant in a Singaporean Company, then as an Admission Officer in one of the best International schools in Cambodia, and lastly opened up her opportunity to join the American Chamber of Commerce as the Office Manager in late April 2021.
As an Office Manager, she supports the Chamber’s operations by maintaining the office system, record keeping, logistics management, and acts as a point of contact. By joining the Chamber, Viriya strongly believes that she will be able to strengthen the connection between American and Cambodian businesspeople.
Muyly is a senior student at Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL), majoring in International Relations. With her experience volunteering for various programs and events, she has accumulated her skills in public relations, communication as well as project and event management. Muyly was a core team member of Ignite Cambodia and an intern at Teach For Cambodia via Chevening Internship Programme. With her outstanding academic background and work experience, she was selected by AmCham Cambodia as a communication and event intern. Upon her three months internship, she decided to kick off her journey with AmCham as a Marketing Executive. Her role is to manage marketing activities as well as all AmCham social media platforms. She believes this is a golden opportunity for her to experience the marketing skill and the real working environment that will contribute to her personal and professional development, which will prepare her for her future career after graduating.
