Proposed for The Cambodian Librarians Association (CLA) to be qualified under the Non-Profit / Association / NGO membership category of the AmCham Cambodia Charter.
CLA is a registered, non-profit professional association established in 1998, operating on a non-commercial basis with a national mandate to advance library development, professional standards, education, and knowledge infrastructure in Cambodia. Our activities align with AmCham’s objectives of supporting education, workforce development, ethical business practices, and long-term socio-economic growth through public–private collaboration.
As a professional association serving educators, librarians, academic institutions, and knowledge organizations, CLA contributes to the human capital and knowledge ecosystem that underpins Cambodia’s business environment and aligns with AmCham’s cross-sector engagement, particularly through its Education Committee and related initiatives.
