Indochina Starfish Foundation (ISF) is a locally-based organisation dedicated to a vision where every child has access to quality education, healthcare, and sport. Through our education, sport, healthcare, and community development projects, our aim is to make a fundamental and lasting change in the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged children and their families in Cambodia.
Since 2006, ISF has grown from providing basic education opportunities to 18 children to supporting over 700 children through primary, secondary and tertiary education and employment across our two education centres – ISF Stung Meanchey and ISF Chbar Ampov. Similarly, our Football Programme started out with 50 players in Phnom Penh in 2007. Today, the programme engages over 3,000 children and youth of all abilities spanning 12 of Cambodia’s 24 provinces. Through the holistic services provided to the families of the children ISF works with, more than 3,000 additional people in the local community are also supported.
ISF exists to build networks and resources that support children and their families to break out of a cycle of extreme poverty and move towards a future with improved economic opportunities. Using educational and football initiatives, we help those most in need to build brighter and better futures.
